Contemporary brand experiences are complex, every channel needs to fulfill a clear purpose and to be designed accordingly. With more and more consumers shopping online, retail spaces have become brand representations in its purest form. How can design help to provide clear direction that serves numerous purposes at the same time while staying authetic to the brand? Using the development of adidas NYC, the brands recently opened flagship as an example, Anne will provide you insights on how the adidas design process works and why multi-facetet designers are needed to create inspiring consumer experiences and products.
Anne studied Product Design at the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Schwäbisch Gmünd. After a short assignement with the european space agency where she helped design the interior concept for the International Space Station, she started her career at Zeichen & Wunder in Munich working for brands like Rolf Benz and Audi. Her next step lead her to Interbrand Zintzmeyer & Lux where she learn from some oft he most influential brand stretegists and led the Munich based design team for BMW and Rolls-Royce. In 2005 she started working for adidas heading up numerous teams like brand Brand Identity, Brand Packaging and since 2015 Brand Design Retail Flagships.
